Young Carers at Better Business Summit ( Published: 24/01/2025)
Young Carers Derick and Divine had the opportunity to go to the Better Business Summit with Media Cubs.
During the event, they interviewed businesses about how they are making a positive impact on the environment, and gained advice about how to make a difference themselves in future career paths. They enjoyed learning new media skills and represented the Academy and our values excellently.

By giving young people a seat at the table (and a microphone in hand!), we showed the value of including diverse voices in shaping the world of business. It was fantastic to see the reporters engaging with really important topics that will impact their future, and positively standing out in a room full of adults. They did a great job of asking big questions and representing the next generation.
