Marking World Refugee Day ( Published: 20/06/2025)
As part of the school’s commitment to promote care, respect and equality, students have taken part in activities to mark World Refugee Day.
World Refugee Day is marked on the 20th of June. Students were able to participate in a national live assembly, hearing about the experiences of young refugees, and considering how they can be more welcoming to refugees in our community.
Darcy in Year 7 wrote a beautiful poem to highlight the experiences of refugees, which has been entered into a national competition:
