The Future is Construction ( Published: 16/11/2022)
As part of the school’s commitment to showcase a wide variety of careers and routes into further study, students were given the opportunity to visit two of Morgan Sindall’s construction sites.
Students expressing an interest in the construction industry were invited to visit two sites around Manchester; a refurbishment of the House of Sports complex on the Etihad campus and a new apartment block at Islington Wharf.
Students met with construction workers, project managers, site supervisors and planning teams, to help them better understand how each role works within the team and the different college, apprenticeship and university routes leading into the industry.
