Year 7 Sports Leadership Award ( Published: 14/05/2025)
The Young Leader Award is a great introduction to leadership, giving young people knowledge of how to organise and lead small games and activities that can be used as a part of uniformed organisation, community club or sports club sessions.
The Young Leader Award aims to help learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork, as well as build confidence and self-esteem as they take on the responsibility of leading their peers.
Today was a great event for the students, who learnt about sports leadership and were able to improve their confidence, organisation and communication skills. I hope to see these students become sports leaders in the school for years to come.
