‘Best Digital Innovation’ award winners at the Teen Tech Manchester event in 2020
Teen Tech helped me learn more about STEM job roles I hadn鈥檛 thought about before, and built up my confidence in presenting in front of a large audience.
Year 9 Student
The Teen Tech event took place on Tuesday 11th February 2020 at the University of Manchester. It provided students with an opportunity to take part in lots of interactive activities related to various STEM careers, and gave them invaluable experience of inventing their own products and pitching their ideas to a large audience.
Our team won the ‘Best Digital Innovation’ award for their invention proposal and pitch. Well done Team TEMA!
The interactive activities allowed the students to consider careers and job roles they may not have previously thought about and to develop new skills. Working as a team, creating inventions and pitching ideas were also a big part of the day and I was so proud of Team TEMA for their winning invention!
