Opera House Backstage Tour ( Published: 22/02/2023)
Year 10 Performing Arts students went on a tour of a commissioning theatre to learn more about the magic that happens backstage.
As part of our commitment to ensure vocational courses are linked to industry Performing Arts, students had the opportunity to tour the Opera House with a special backstage tour.
They were able to see what a working theatre looks like without the set and lights rigged for a performance, and how this all comes together. They explored the different roles and responsibilities within a theatre and had the opportunity to quiz industry experts about career pathways within the theatre sector.
