After reading a range of articles, students engaged in a thoughtful discussion around the question:

If workplaces and schools are obligated to provide toilet roll and soap, should they have the same responsibility to provide sanitary products?

The group considered issues of equality, dignity, and fairness, and reflected on how access to essential hygiene products connects to wider questions about education, wellbeing, and social responsibility.

A special well done goes to Raya, who won the group prize for her insightful contribution. Raya clearly explained how a lack of access to sanitary products can negatively affect girls’ education and mental health, and powerfully argued that periods should never be a barrier to education or work for women.

Looking Ahead

The group will soon be exploring careers that cannot be taken over by Artificial Intelligence, focusing on why technology can never replace human heart, care, and compassion.

It was a fantastic week of mature discussion and thoughtful citizenship – well done to everyone involved.
