The Music Gospel Choir Project visited TEMA in March 2026

TEMA Students Get the Singing Bug ( Published: 23/03/2026)

All of our Key Stage 3 students had the fantastic opportunity to show off their singing skills, as part of the Royal Northern College of Music’s Gospel Choir Project.

The singing session was designed to give each of our younger students the opportunity to be trained by professional choir leaders from the Royal Northern College of Music. The year groups expertly showed off their vocal skills to industry professionals and made the music staff at TEMA proud.

The event was in partnership with the and our local music Hub One Education, who were there to remind our students of the additional music sessions that are available to them at the East Music Centre. The East Music Centre is designed to give students the opportunity to improve their skills with a number of sessions like, Violin, Woodwind, Guitar and Band enrichment.

The opportunity for our students to get this expert training doesn’t come along every day. At TEMA, we want all our students to have the opportunity to express themselves and exceed within music.
