Year 9 Poetry Workshop with Dean Atta ( Published: 25/03/2025)
Students explored how poetry can empower people to express and make sense of their identities.
Year 9 students listened to a talk from about the inspiration behind his publications and how his identity has shaped his authorial messages. Students were then able to create their own poetry exploring their identity, what makes them proud and what questions they have about their place in society.
