Students nominated for Care Awards during the 2025/26 academic year

Celebrating Care at TEMA ( Published: 11/05/2026)

Students across school show care every day in their actions and their attitudes. This half term, we have been focused on celebrating those that demonstrate our value of care consistently and consciously.

At ÐÇ¿ÕýÌ崫ý, Care is a central part of our REACH values and underpins our strong sense of community. Our students consistently show kindness, empathy and respect in the way they support one another and work positively with staff. These attitudes help to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels known, valued and supported.

In one week, 45 students were nominated for a Care Award. Nominations came from teaching and support staff from across school. The acts of Care celebrated went further than our high expectations for students. Instead, they included supporting clear up at lunch time and in practical subjects; helping peers with their learning and demonstrating patience; and consistently thoughtful and considerate actions towards others.

We are proud to recognise students who demonstrate care day in, day out – whether by looking out for their peers, offering encouragement, or contributing to a calm and respectful atmosphere across the academy. Their actions reflect the high standards and shared values that make TEMA such a special place to learn and thrive.
